Who we are
Volleyballshopper.se (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) is a school project developed by Juozas M. Our website address is: https://www.volleyballshopper.se.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
If you register with the website, any data that is put in as part of the registration will be recorded. In addition, we store anonymous analytical data that is processed through one.com, such as general time of access, device type or browser type, and general location (for example country). These data types can not be connected to one another, nor do they hold other identifiable factors.
We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.
For further details, please see the ‘about Hotjar’ section of Hotjar’s support site.
We also use Google Analytics to collect data. We need this data to understand how you use our website so we can improve its design and functionality. Google Analytics collects personal data such as number of users, session statistics, approximate geolocation and browser and device information through the use of cookies. Users can opt-out or opt-in to the collection of analytical data.
We only collect data, including analytical data, for the purpose of the school project being completed and normally only in our legitimate interest. Data may continue to be collected after the project’s completion. It is not our intent to share the data with third parties where it isn’t necessary. Note that any data may be shared with law enforcement, courts or other parties to comply with local laws.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
In addition, we collect cookies for the purpose of generating statistical data. For more information, see our Cookie Policy.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

We use Google Analytics. Google Analytics is an analytics platform owned by Google LLC.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data from events for Google Analytics is retained for 2 months. User data is retained for 14 months.
As a rule of thumb, we do not intend to store data for longer than it is necessary.
